Upstream Kids
Helping children become passionate followers of Jesus Christ.
We consider it an honour to partner with families in the discipleship of their children. Upstream meets during all of our Sunday gatherings for just that purpose— modern worship, interactive Bible lessons, games, snacks, and more. We would love to have you join us on a Sunday.
BE OUR GUEST
First time visiting? Check-In begins 15 minutes before service, and we recommend coming early. At check-in, children receive name tags and parents receive corresponding security tags to be returned to us at check-out. To keep things moving quickly and safely, our Check-In Team will ask you a few basic questions to complete your secure electronic check-in, and provide a paper form for more in-depth info that we will enter later.
If you’re planning to visit soon, pre-registering makes your check-in experience faster and easier!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
Sure, especially for the younger kids; but we encourage parents to only stay briefly. You’re welcome to see our bright, well-equipped rooms, meet our fantastic leaders, and help your child get settled. We then ask that you return to the adult gathering, as the classrooms are secure areas.
-
We offer a snack each week. We always have alternatives and try to accommodate a variety of common food allergies and dental work. You are also welcome to send along a different snack for your child. Food allergies will appear on a child’s name tag.
-
Yes, please arrange this by giving your security tag to the person authorized to pick up your child, so that they can be properly checked out. Please inform our team at Check-In as well.
-
All of our leaders have been through a thorough application process, guided by standards set forth by Plan to Protect, a company that is recognized internationally for their work with vulnerable sector protection and abuse prevention. This process includes reference checks, a criminal background check, and protection policy training. Our “StreamTeam” is committed to your child’s safety, sense of belonging, and spiritual growth.
