Read: 1 Samuel 3:1-10

Devotional Thought: Samuel was not familiar with the voice of the Lord, and he did not expect God to speak to him. When he realized that God was speaking, his simple response was: “Speak, your servant is listening.” As we enter into this time of heightened awareness and attention to how God is speaking to us, let’s prepare our hearts and minds to hear what He has to say.

Pray: “Father God, today we pray together: ‘speak Lord, for we are listening’. Help us to pay attention to you, and to anticipate that you are going to move in our lives.”
