(Re)Build
July 30, 2020
In the wake of the global pandemic some of our ReachOut ministry partners found themselves more in-demand than ever. Meanwhile, others were forced to restructure their entire organization. Such was the case for Youth Unlimited, an organization focused solely on in-person connection, mentorship, and evangelism. They had been picking up steam this past year with a presence in several local schools and connections forming from various outreach initiatives, such as basketball and drama groups. Then, enter COVID. Now they find themselves rebuilding, and are seeking prayer in the following three areas:
-
Prayer as Youth Unlimited resets their ministry and finds new ways to be effective in the face of our current reality.
-
Prayer that the connections with the youth reached thus far will not be lost in the transition.
-
They are looking at possibly adding a staff member, and need prayer support for the process.
Youth Unlimited is run by members of our very own congregation, and the connections they have formed with both “church kids” and the “unchurched” tend to come at a critical time in an adolescent’s life. As a church, let’s come together and offer our prayer to help this incredible organization reach youth in Lower Sackville and throughout HRM.
